What I do know is, the rocks along the Arch Rock Nature Trail seem to be full of creatures trying to hide in solid rock. This rock valley is enclosed on all sides by the familiar golden rock formations of the park. It is located just off of Park Boulevard. If you only have the chance for one short hike at Joshua Tree National Park, Hidden Valley is a great choice. Arch Rock trail starts across from site 9 in the White Tank Campground located along the northern portion of Pinto Basin Road. For some reason, I see things in the rocks at Joshua Tree National Park.
